Hey, thanks for stopping by. I'll have to assume you're in a standard league format? You're short assists, points and threes, long boards and blocks. I'd try to deal Gasol (sell high) for Derrick Rose (buy low) for the assists, and I'd also try to sell Kirilenko high for Stephen Jackson (buy low) to snag points and three's. This should offer an immediate impact
ReplyDeleteThank you for your opinion! Any other players on my team I should keep an eye on to "sell high"? How about other players who are not on my team that I should "buy low"? I've read most of your recent posts, so I know of a few.
ReplyDeleteIf I cannot get Jackson for Kirilenko (because my friend is really stingy with her team), who else from my other friends' team should I try to get with Derrick Rose for M. Gasol and Kirilenko?

Sure no problem, I love this stuff. Youcould easily swap in Ben Gordon and score much the same stats there. I like Arenas too, but the FG% will kill you. Scre Gordon and Rose for Kirilenko and Gasol and DOMINATE

What cat's can i win? this is still the first week of matchups and this team won't be all together until tuesday, when the trade goes through. what players should i trade/target?

I've given up on TO's. I need points desperately. FT% is dropping badly. 3 guys are runaway leaders with pts, but two more just passed me and i need to catch them--just 200 ahead for now.
Any advice? Who to trade/keep? i know someone really wants gasol but i decided to keep him.

For starters, we'll just pass on your first team. I'm not sure if everyone just isn't playing or what, thats a heck of a lineup! Of all the WW players, Jerm is the one to keep an eye on. Oh, and that trade was NASTY!
ReplyDeleteOK on to the important league. My advice, deal Gasol, deal Kirilenko, and try snagging Caron Butler and Stephen Jackson on the cheap. Your team is short on solid SF type players. Ones who score solid points and then contribute elsewhere. These two additions should add an impact right away, and you won't be giving up much.
Marc Gasol is definitely a Sell High candidate

ReplyDeleteYup you're in desperate need of a big man! Good thing this is a year where there's plenty to go around. I would say, do NOT deal Granger. He is too valuable, too consistent to move. You have other players that are perfect SELL HIGH candidates right now in Thompson and Illyasova, see if you can't package up those two for a strong big. I'd also like to see you with a better PG than Brooks and Jennings. I'm sure you've heard me touting D Rose, but I think he fits well wit your squad. Move Thompson for him, then look to deal Illyasova and maybe Wallace for a legit big like Oden.

ReplyDeleteFfejjalapeno: Brandon Roy is a pivotal piece to a team, i wouldn't deal him under any circumstances. However I do like you offering Stuckey (sell high) for Rose (buy low)!
Anony: you gotta drop Udrih or QRich and get Joel Pryzbilla ASAP. I just snagged him myself. You won't lose any production with him in the lineup. I'll post if I find any solid Buy Low Bigs.

Yup, for starters Udrih isn't much help. And I'd definitely be selling Terry highe here (he'll be listed in my upcoming post). Look to add Butler to your roster in a deal for those two. Butlers steals will be a big boost for you going forward.

I definitely advise against dealing LBJ, once you get a player like him, he should immediately go under the untradable status (except if you're getting CP3 back).
ReplyDeleteI like adding Aldridge to your squad, see if you can't finagle him for maybe Thompson and udrih. I'd also like to see you get Harris, but the goal is to get him cheap. So be patient.
