New York State Online Sales Tax Law
New York has implemented a new law that will require online retailers with affiliates that are located in New York State to collect sales tax from New York residents
Interesting, do I think other states may follow? I would not be surprised. When state revenue is tight, this is definitely another avenue to filling the coffers. I would venture to say that many states are watching this action closely.
