The LG KU990 Viewty does not officially support the user during the installation of new mobile themes - but that has not stopped Viewty owners ... like me?
Currently there are no officially sanctioned way to download and install new Flash-based themes on your LG KU990 Viewty.
Just a word of caution: I or anyone else assumes no responsibility for any damage that may cause the intrusion into your Viewty to upload a new topic. You can install a new, unofficial theme with these methods in violation ofYour Guarantee Viewty. DO IT AT YOUR OWN RISK.
Save the contents of your phone. This is vital to the people. Do this with a software called EFS Media Builder. This software allows you to search and delete protected directories on your Viewty. Do not worry, I've explored the Internet for these programs, and I will bring you the links to the files necessary to access your topics and running!
EFS Media Builder is only used the tool to the "secret access" and hiddenDirectories on your LG Viewty. However, you also need Theme Manager 3.2, which contains the different themes like iPhone, Windows Theme, Viewty and many other topics.
So what you do is the "secret access" lists, I have told you, and basically to install these themes in your phone.
Step 1: Download the files EFS Media Builder and Theme Manager 3.2
Step 2: Run EFS Media Builder, and then navigate to"LGAPP / media / swf / theme." BACKUP "theme_bg2.swf. If you really do not want to fuck things up, back up the whole damn "about" folder.
Step 3: Choose where you install your theme manager.
Installation on the memory card:
1) Install "theme_bg2.swf" in "LGAPP / media / swf / theme" Using EFS Media Builder, then restart the phone once done.
2) Go to Settings, Phone Settings, Connectivity, USB connection mode and selectMass Storage from the list and close the phone to the PC
3) Switch USB connection to mass storage mode, go to the Memory Card / Removable Storage.
4) Drag the "Themes" folder from the zip file directly into the main directory of the memory card.
6) Go to Settings, Display, Silver Handset theme and select from the list.
Install on phone memory
1) Edit the "ThemeList.txt" file to have any custom themes on the phone memory(/ / LGAPP / media / swf / theme / themes)
2) Go to "LGAPP / media / swf / theme" with EFS Media Builder.
3) Drag and drop "theme_bg2.swf" file and the "themes" folder into this loction then restart the phone.
4) Go to Settings, Screen, Handset theme and pick from the list of silver
You must edit the ThemeList.txt if the phone and install it as being a place of memory. Change the '0 'to '1' for all subjects in the ThemeList.txtFile.
Step 4: Install some more issues (if any)
Perform the following:
1) Create a new folder in the "themes" folder and enter a name for the topic you are installing are relevant.
2) Pull out all the new theme files into the newly created folder.
3) Update "ThemeList.txt" to the newly installed theme number. SWF files.
Step 5:
So now that you have it installed successfully, what do you do?Do it naturally. Duh!
To load the theme manager, tap twice on the "C" button (located on the actual handset) to the list of available topics. Use the left and rights arrows, or use the jog wheel to click through the pages and find the topic you want to navigate. Once you have a topic you want to keep double-tap again to "C" key to hide the menu.
You can also swap between the built-in symbol styles by pressing the "blacks" or "Colored" button.
