According to The New York Times, Tchao joins Apple as vice president of product marketing. He will report to Phil Schiller, a senior vice president.
Most recently he served as the general manager of Nike Techlab, designing armbands and sneakers that integrate with the iPod.
Its not clear what Tchao's duties at Apple will entail.
