More Data Please!

Data data data, that's the name of the game. As most of you already know, I created the Team Analyzer (aka Secret Sauce Calculator) by aggregating and manipulating a decades worth of fantasy basketball historical data. I feel good about the accuracy of the results for a standard league, and as I mention in the disclaimer, the further away from standard you go, the tougher it is for me to estimate (or as we like to say in stats, create a confidence interval).

So that brings me to this request. If you happen to have historical end of year stats for your league, pass it on. Preferably those playing in leagues that are different from the standard setup, and with differing stat categories. Now I play my leagues on Yahoo and fortunately Yahoo allows you to go back in time and see the end of year stat results for ROTO leagues. This is perfect because it's just the accumulation that I need. They don't offer the same for H2H leagues. I'm not sure what CBS, ESPN or anyone else for that matter offers.

So in the spirit of working together to make sure the results for next season become ever so more accurate (and again, I think their pretty accurate already), if you have a moment please step into the time machine, pull up the end of year 2008 stats, and shoot them to me. I'm looking for specifically for the total stats at the end of the season by category.

Oh and if you have baseball data, that's good too, send it along. You can use the 'contact me' link above to shoot me an email. I hope everyone is enjoying using the Analyzer and has found it to be useful this year.
