Updates

Hey guys, just to let everyone know, I'm working on some site updates that will be good to go later this evening. Most importantly, I'm working on a more efficient and quick way to distribute the password to access my free fantasy team tools to you all. Thanks for your support and I hope those of you with access to the SS calc are enjoying. Please feel free to leave feedback and suggestions of what you'd like to see in the next version. Thanks!

  6. Hi thief, 10 team H2H (no TOs). I have been offered Brandon Roy for Melo. I know you have Roy as Tier 2 and Melo as Tier 3, still I believe I need the points and Melo is playing great, do you believe its still a good idea in the long run to exchange him for Roy?

Should I pull the trigger on this Blockbuster. Im thinking of holding out for Al Jef. What do you think THief?

    ReplyDelete
  9. My instinct is to take this deal and run but I feel with a little bit of work Al Jef could be switched in. That said I also love West. He's a nice big and there is alwasy the CP3 factor. Thanks allot Thief!

    ReplyDelete
  10. Another update. He's standing firm on West. Doesn't want to move Al Jef whatsoever.

I am still very tempted as I would love Jrich and Crash allot!

    ReplyDelete
  11. Mamba, you gotta move Lou for a three shooter.

Y4, first ones great, second one blows

Ismael, work that deal! Make him add another player to it. We b thievin here an if he wants melo, he'll pay up!

Homegrown, I like okur and LOVE jameer. If ur gonna deal jameer, give him a chance to get real hot first. You'll know it's time when you no longer want to trade him lol.

    J. No way, make him put Al Jeff in. Definitely. I like West too, but Al is def better and for Dirty Dirk, the dude will give in. I'll bet he's sittin at home wettin himself thinking about getting Dirk. INK IT BRO!!

  28. Hey Thief,
I'm tryin to nab Chris Paul by giving up Duncan and Beasley. What do you think?

He said he would definitely trade if I gave up McGrady instead of Beasley.

    Thanks.

    ReplyDelete
  29. AK- Do that. McGrady is not even going to play in Houston much.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Hey KobeKiller,

I'm just afraid McGrady is going to blow up after he gets traded since he wants a new contract and prove everyone wrong.

    Juss pull the trigger?

    ReplyDelete
  31. Or he's willing to do Hedo and Paul for Duncan, Beasley and McGrady.

Which is better? 2-1 or 3-2?

    ReplyDelete
  32. AK, both those trades are good for you. I wouldn't trust mcgrady this season. How about mine (several posts before you). What would be reasonable?

    ReplyDelete
  33. Pavel, I would switch Nene for KG and add David West to make it a 3-3 trade. As the Thief said, West and Gordon have a lot of upside.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Hey Theif,

You got some fantasy wisdom man Kudos. This is my first year and I'm just learning how to play, but you have alot of advice that is great to work with. I made a blunder and traded my Rondo away for G. Wallace. Rondo was my main source of assists and stl, my teams more stacked with Rbds, and 3s.

I have a plan but I need to make this trade. I'm trying to get another point guard and also dominate in 3's. I'm trying to pick up Pierce and D.Rose from my buddy and thinking of offering the 3 for 2. Here's my team and my offer...

    Billups
    CDR
    Casspi
    J Richardson
    Hedo Turk
    Corey Brewer
    Gerald Wallace
    Tyrus Thomas
    Al Harrington
    Louis Scola
    Nene
    Dwight
    Dampier

I was thinking of offering Al Harrington, Hedo, and Nene.

    Have a great new year

    Shawn

  35. Hey guys, I'm working hard at fixing and updating the site. I'm real glad to see you all are able to offer help for each others questions, that's great! I'll be around all night but sparsely. I'm new to this blogging stuff and it's gonna take me some time to update and learn code.

    AK, take the 3-2, that's a solid deal. McGrady is D O N E

Pavel, I like this deal a whole lot better than the other one. If you get west tossed in, even better.

Shawn, you use the Secret Sauce analyzer yet? Just to be sure as to where you're strong and where you're weak?

  36. Havent gotten the email yet subscribed yesterday.

    ReplyDelete
  37. you definitely should be getting posts by now, you getting the comments via email?

    ReplyDelete
  38. sup thief,

finally downloaded your spreadsheet. interesting. on some other posts you were asking for suggestions to make the sauce calculator better. here is my suggestion. all of us play in different league sizes. would you be able to add a variable where the "SECRET SAUCE" is adjusted to account for different leauge sizes. since you dont have it implemented right now would this work?

assuming your secret sauce is base on 12 team league. and i am playing in a 14 team league

    eg reb. (sauce a reb = 6.5)
let x = adjusted 14 team secret sauce

    6.5(12/14) = x
    x = 5.5714 rebs

not sure if that makes sense to you.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Ritzi, lots of people beenn askin bout that. I will put it in the next version, but the thing is, the difference is pretty small. Like 6.5 for 12 teams, 6.62 for 10 teams and 6.44 for 10 teams. Still not hard to implement. Thanks!
