Interestingly, I place those little polls next to the first post for a reason and it isn't just for fun. It's a psychological test too. Look at the way the last poll ended, we asked:
Who is the best buy low candidate?
Amare Stoudemire - 24%
Stephen Jackson - 11%
Derrick Rose - 13%
Caron Butler - 13%
just by looking at the totals, and seeing that most of us voted for Amar'e, tells you that he is NOT the best buy low. If he was, everyone wouldn't have picked him. Remeber we're looking for those guys that a manager is DYING to just GIVE to us. In reality, Amar'e is the worst buy low, because everyone knows he's just slumping. You follow?
This is why polls are anonymous and we all answer truthfully, then you can walk away with some real good knowledge. I encourage you all, take a moment to vote on them. Going forward, I'll give a heads up when I change the poll (basically as the situations change) and I'll try to give you a sense of what I'm looking for from the poll.
For the next week the poll will be:
Who is the best Sell High candidate?
Simple enough right? Only here, my guess is that the guy with the most votes will be tough to sell and the ones with the least votes, those will be easy to sell. You catching on yet? People are going to vote for the guy they'd have no problem selling, that means he doesnt have much trade value. The guy that it ABSOLUTELY KILLS you to sell, is the guy with ALL the trade value.
