Fantasy Football: Superbowl Week Sit or Start

I'll be around all day, putting the finishing touches on our Secret Sauce calculator. Hit me up anytime for Sit or Start advice, or just basketball advice.

Like I said, the Secret Sauce program will be available first thing Monday morning, with data updates every Monday thereafter. You're going to need to be a member of this blog to access it, so I recommend taking care of that now. There's a 'google followers' link on the top right hand side of the page to help with this.

Alright, I'm pumped, ready to bring home TWO superbowl rings!

some notable kickers on FA are nugent vs STL, sulsham vs TB, bryant vs BUF, and dawson vs OAK. what do u think about this?

and for another league do i start fred davis or celek at TE? and crosby or graham at K?

  3. Gotta tell ya, I like housh over meachem. I think you're going by the matchups, which makes sense. But I'll bet Brees won't need to go to Meachem because Colston, Moore and Devery will be open all day long. If Seattle gets in the red zone, housh is the target. I think he's got the better chance to score. I'd be starting TJ. The rest looks perfect.

  4. I like all starters except I'd have nugent over Reed. Gotta think of the teams ability to put up points AND the playing conditions. For the other two, I like Crosby as they can really open up the scoring and I think Celek is a better TE option mainly because he'll have more opportunities to score (skins blow).

  5. In a standard ESPN league, which one of these waiver wire wonders would you roll with? Quinton ganther (he seems to find a last minute TD every week), Jason snelling (hopefully ATL is smart and shuts down the burner for the season), or Jerome Harrison (was that game last week a sign of things to come or just a fluke).

Or would you start mendenhall over the 3 of them?

  6. Stodds, no fluke with Harrison. He's a pretty good back, and clev. will stick with the run. I love Mendenhall, but this week I say go with Jerome.

  7. sadly i dont have any football questions because of my poor reciever decisions in the draft which cost me some early games, but im hyped for this secret sauce and had a bball question...

I wanted to make a move for chris bosh in fantasy for boozer..i had a deal for amare but i pulled back because im lookin at the playoffs and the suns weekly schedule is not good and the raptors have 4,4 and 3,4 game during hte 4 playoff weeks...

the guy who has bosh likes boozer a lot but he wants me to sweeten the pot....who should i add in

    PG-Rondo
    DWill
    Lou Will
    SG- Dwade
    KevMart
    SF- Gallanari
    PF- Kevin Love
    Boozer
    Ty Thomas
    C - Lopez
    Al Jeff
C Frye(which he really doesnt want, i know for sure)
    Beindrins

I know im weak at sf and i plan on makin a move for gerald wallace for kevin love and somebody else next...that guy needs a center, so if beindrins starts playin that will be a deal he would take...

It's a 12 team H2H league. Any improvements I should make or trades? I'm surprisingly in first even though I don't think my team is that good...

    Sauce

    pts 16.3
    ast 3.58
    reb 5.375
    3pt 1.03
    stl 1.23
    blk 0.64

  9. Dumb, you need a big man for boards n blocks. Try for okafor, maybe move diaw and c lee?

Clint, I'd say either move gallinari or tyrus Thomas. You should get a low level player back too.

  10. based on my team from before wud this trade work?

    i get: camby and pierce

i give: love and eric gordon

i knw camby is injury prone, but do u really think a player will keep getting injured for like 6 years straight? lol maybe this year is a healthy one, i cud believe that. and this wud help me on blcks, while not losing out on reb like i wud with love for pierce straight up. he said he wud think about both, so which do u think is better for me.

also, battier and hinrich for tyrus thomas. thats good right? since they are both bench players and id be helped out in blcks a lot.

    my sauce is this:
    pts; 14.08
    treys: 0.91
    reb: 6.12
    ast: 3.79
    stls: 1.08
    blcks: 0.7

what u say about those trades?

    ReplyDelete
  11. actually idk who to offer. out of these three (hinrich, battier, juwan howard) which two wud u offer for thomas? maybe howard and battier? idk what do u think?

    ReplyDelete
  12. Lucky, there is a near 100% chance that camby will go down. For at least some time. Still, this is a good deal for you. Also juwon is garbage, battier and hinrich is an OK offer to try.

    ReplyDelete
  13. ok so ill try juwam and battier first.

and so shud i try getting camby? his team is curry, evans, westbrook, ariza, lebron, lopez, gallo, o'neal, q-rich, camby, yi, haywood, ellis, marvin williams, and pierce

  14. What's up Thief! Can't wait for the SSC...also an update on my deal, I had my Bosh and Artest for Kobe and Love going but the other managers decided to veto the trade looking at Kobe's and KLove current ranks 5th and 21st and Bosh's and Artest 20th and 126th. I know is BS, bottom line is he still wants Bosh but I don't think I can afford to lose all the boards and do Bosh for Kobe straight up. What should my next offer be?

His team: Monta, Bryant, Turkoglu, Butler, Melo, LMA, Z-Bo, Beasley, TChander, Birdman, KLove, T-Mac and Stuckey.

    Weekly H2H league.

    Starters:
    PG: DRose
    SG: BRoy
    G: Joe Johnson
    G: AMiller
    SF: TYoung
    PF: Yi
    F: Speights
    F: Gallinari
    C: CBosh
    C:AHorford
    Util: Hibbert

    Bench:
    RHamilton
    RArtest

Secret Sauce (not accounting bench stats).

    Points: 16.3
    Assists: 3.16
    Boards: 6.00
    Treys: 1.57
    Steals: 0.82
    Blocks: 0.50

Thanks and good luck today with your football teams!!!

  15. Lucky, why not Lopez instead?

Carlo, think they'd let you take Aldridge instead? I HATE VETOES!!

    ReplyDelete
  16. I know man, it was ridiculous...sent him an email proposing the deal, turns now he's scared to take on Artest...he wants to do Kobe for Bosh straight up but then again I can't afford to lose all those boards, can I?

    ReplyDelete
  17. Thief, I'm having trouble adding aldridge to your secret sauce =-/
