Now Showing - Southern Fried Fiber

I am delighted to announce that three of my quilts are now showing in the Southern Fried Fiber Exhibit at the Lake County Administration Building in Tavares, Florida.  The show includes 58 works by SAQA (Studio Art Quilt Associates) members from Florida and Georgia.  It opens tomorrow January 7th and runs through February 27th.  Here's the show flyer Download Southern Fried Fiber Flyer .  The quilts are shown below: Pin Me!, Rosehips, and Please Leaf Me Alone.  Click on the images for a larger view.   I made Pin Me! to showcase my collection of brooches, so I can enjoy them even when I'm not wearing them.  Rosehips was made in a Jane Sassaman workshop - Thank you, Jane, for teaching me to abstract an image and for encouraging me to sketch.  The last quilt was a made entirely from my scrap bag for an Off the Wall Guild challenge - "Play on Words".
